By way of an explanation, a Queenslander is a style of traditional house from QLD, popular in the 1920's & 30's. They were made of wood and raised off the ground on stilts (so air can circulate to keep cool), Verandas (or decks) are also a feature. Here are a few we have seen on our travels on this trip.
